Sophie Kissimba Kassini is a junior Marine Biology Marine Affairs double major at the University of Rhode Island. She is currently continuing her summer research on ocean governance capacity with Yoshitaka Ota. She hopes in the future to research ocean and coastal resilience to push laws to restore and protect them.
