John E. Omondi is a journalist who investigates and explains ecological issues, policy shifts and community resilience to local, regional and global audiences. He makes complex climate data, carbon metrics, and environmental policies simple and clean for the public. Reports are on local adaptation strategies, indigenous knowledge, and renewable energy transitions. He investigates corporate greenwashing, pollution, and regulatory failures. John holds a BA in Journalism from Mt Kenya University and has taken Investigative and Data-Journalism courses from the Africa Center for Media Excellence in Kampala, Uganda. He covers climate and environment for a range of publications, often reporting authentic stories with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach. He combines the use of quality infographics and photography to bring to life the stories of the most vulnerable.
