Anna Offenwanger, Ph.D.

Dr. Anna Offenwanger is a Post-Doc with the Strategies for a Changing Ocean Lab. She holds a M.Sc. from the University of British Columbia and a Ph.D. from the Université Paris-Saclay in Computer Science, studying Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and interaction design. She has a background in software engineering, and her research interests focus on the use of human-centered design methods for creating software that promotes equity and supports creativity. During her Post-Doc, she will apply this interest to the design of serious games in environmental planning contexts.
Her personal interests cover a wide range of activities, from video games, to cycling, to textile arts, to 3D fabrication.
