Institute for Oceans and Fisheries, University of British Columbia
Before joining the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), Anna Ducros worked as a researcher for the Institute of Oceans and Fisheries located in Vancouver, Canada. Her work investigated the presence of equity and sharing mechanisms in emerging blue economy sectors (such as tidal energy, offshore wind, and mangrove carbon sequestration sites). Anna also worked as a researcher at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. At Dalhousie, her work investigated the role of seafood in alleviating food security in the Canadian Arctic. She currently works on topics such as biodiversity finance and retail procurement in small-scale fisheries.
