Aline Jaeckel is an Associate Professor at the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS). She works in the fields of ocean governance, international (environmental) law, and law of the sea and has a particular interest in the regulation and governance of deep seabed mineral mining. She has published extensively, acts as a government advisor, and sits on the editorial board of Marine Policy.
